Program will ask for you to Switch on the receiver It will show as per Bellow 4 - It will then go into HTTP mode 5 - At this stage, you open your browser and insert the romote IP you chose when setting the Sunray. Hey guys, i Need your Knowledge! I have a Dreambox 800Se. The hdmi Port is not working. After i tryed to Flash The Box with DreamUp it always Hangs on 'calculating checksum' After trying everything i changed The Output Port to Scart and everything is working Fine.
While using The Scart Connection i have made a Factory reset. After that The hdmi Port is now working again. But i think it will fail again soon. Should i reball or only reflow The CPU? Or is The reason for hdmi failure something else? Thank you EDIT: have made the fault finding measurements: Pin 5: 914 OHM Pin 4: 1787 OHM Pin 3: 15,42 K.OHM.
Reflow, or re-balling the cpu. Reflow may help, but I recommend to use a special liquid flux, so you can perform it at a lower temperature. As you can find on The advantage is that you can use a lower temperature, thus saving the cpu to reball if needed. Nevertheless, reflow or re-balling is always a risky job to preform.

Sometimes it's the software, of at least the drivers from it. Or the hdmi cable, and sometimes the type tv srceen you have. So, it's always wise to check it on another tv set, and try some older software to see if it helps. Newer software may give a Hdmi fault, don't ask me why, I do not build this software or drivers for it.
But it may have to do with the type hardware in the box. Based on your values (as the Pin 2: 30,4 ohms) you have a Sunray, or Estar motherboard. These board has other values as the fault finding measurements which were measured from the ferrari dreambox motherboards. These has other Dc to Dc voltage ic's than Surnray or Estar has. As you can see on this picture, the. But still, even these values are not accurate, because it depends on how the motherboard has been modified/redesigned. In that case I need at least to know which type motherboard you have to check if your values are fine.

Connect the box with your network in the same network area as your computer is connected. Dreambox in Off state, hold the front push button, switch the box On. Watch your oled display to see if you get the ip address, if so release the front push button.

Use the ip address in your browser and upload a image file by browser. Other method, Use the correct dreamup flasher, one that is suitable for your receiver. Connect the box with on a network, and the service usb cable to your computer. If you have a Sunray receiver, than it may help if you use the.
